Position

Job Responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications and Preferred Qualifications

Compliance Manager

(Senior)


- Manage and maintain Compliance, AML (Anti-Money Laundering)/CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) and ABC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption) frameworks for LINE Financial global services 

- Identify and assess the Compliance, AML/CFT and ABC risks associated with current and proposed future business activities of LINE Financial Plus, including any extension of operations or networks on an international level 

- Advise management on the applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards and inform them about any development in these areas 

- Work with external counsel and other professionals to develop written policies, guidelines and controls for LINE Financial Plus’businesses, and overseeing any updates and supporting infrastructure 

- Perform regular and comprehensive compliance risk assessments and tests to check the effectiveness of internal policies, procedures and guidelines, and ensuring that there is effective follow-up of any identified deficiencies, make recommendations for amendments where necessary and supervising the implementation of corrective measures 

- Monitor AML/CFT function and day-to-day operation 

- Respond to any regulatory requests made by regulators or law enforcement, or the submission of any regulatory reports 

- Establish the basis on which a risk-based approach to the prevention of ML (Money Laundering)/TF (Terrorism Financing) 

- Manage and perform compliance awareness training of employees on a regular basis 

- Develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships with the different global offices, Compliance stakeholders, the Legal team and other regulatory bodies.


[Minimum Qualifications]
- Bachelor
s Degree required 
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in a senior Compliance / Money Laundering Reporting Officer / ABC role in the financial services, payments, or fintech industries, a financial services regulator, or in a law firm 
- Extensive and solid knowledge of Compliance, AML/CFT and ABC controls and regulatory requirements in key jurisdictions, e.g., Korea, Japan, Singapore, EU and/or the US 
- Broad knowledge of mobile payments services, virtual currencies and/or insurance and developments in the fintech industry 
- Experience in developing and managing a Compliance, AML/CFT and ABC team 
- Experience in working with regulators, handling regulatory requests and filing Suspicious Transaction Matter Reports 
- A commercial approach, including the ability to balance Compliance and business goals in an appropriate manner 
- Ability to work independently with strong time management and coordination skills 
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of internal and external stakeholders 
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
- Fluent English

- Bachelor
s or Master Degree in finance or legal preferred 
- Ability to speak multi languages (especially Korean) preferred (for foreign candidates) 
- Willing to relocate to Korea (for foreign candidates)

Compliance Officer

(Junior)

- Assist Compliance Manager in maintaining Compliance, AML (Anti-Money Laundering)/CFT (Countering the Financing of Terrorism) and ABC (Anti-Bribery and Corruption) frameworks for LINE Financial global services 

- Research applicable laws, regulations, rules and standards in AML/CFT and ABC 

- Assist Compliance Manager in establishing policies, guidelines and internal controls 

- Assist Compliance Manager in performing compliance risk 

- Perform day-to-day operations in Compliance Team 

- Support Compliance Manager and relevant teams to respond to any regulatory requests 

- Conduct compliance awareness training for employees on a regular basis


[Minimum Qualifications]
- Bachelor

- Minimum three (3) years' experience of Compliance team in the financial services, payments, or fintech industries, a financial services regulator, or in a law firm
